SEN support in higher education

University brings new freedoms and new challenges. For students with SEN needs, having the right support in place can make the difference between struggling and thriving. Our university programme is designed around the individual student and their specific needs.

Designed for university students who need more

Our university programme supports students with a range of SEN needs as they navigate higher education — from settling in during freshers' week through to dissertation support.

All support aligns with DSA (Disabled Students' Allowance) requirements where applicable and is delivered by practitioners with specialist SEN experience.

Specialist matching

We match the learner with an educator who has direct experience of their specific SEN needs.

Growth and impact review

We monitor progress continuously and provide clear evidence of impact aligned with the SEND Code of Practice.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

We support university students with a wide range of SEN needs including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC/ASD), ADHD, anxiety, SEMH and learning differences such as dyslexia and dyspraxia. Our support is always tailored to the individual.

Yes. Where applicable, our university support can align with Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA) requirements. We can help students and families understand how DSA funding can be used to access our programmes.

Support is tailored to each student's needs and goals. It can range from academic support and study skills through to help with managing the social and emotional demands of university life. We start with a consultation to understand what the student needs most.

Yes. We work with students for as long as they need us — from settling in during freshers' week right through to dissertation support in their final year. Continuity matters and we are committed to being there for the long term.
